Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on 17 October 2025.

We at ARC Academy are committed to making our website — www.arcacademy.uk — accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.

What Web Accessibility Is

An accessible website allows all visitors, including those with disabilities, to navigate, interact, and enjoy the site with ease. Accessibility can be achieved through both the technology on which the site operates and through assistive tools such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and voice recognition software.

Our goal is to ensure that everyone, regardless of ability, can engage with our content and services in a way that meets their needs.

Accessibility Adjustments on This Site

We have adapted our site in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and aim to meet the AA level of accessibility compliance.

To help achieve this, we have implemented the following adjustments:

  • Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to identify and resolve accessibility issues

  • Set the language of the site

  • Defined a clear content order on all pages

  • Established consistent heading structures throughout the site

  • Added alternative text to all meaningful images

  • Used color contrasts that meet accessibility standards

  • Reduced or removed unnecessary motion or flashing content

  • Ensured that all videos, audio, and downloadable files are accessible or include alternatives

  • Enabled keyboard navigation compatibility for core elements

We are continually reviewing and improving the accessibility of our website as new tools and guidance become available.

Declaration of Partial Compliance

Some third-party applications and content embedded on this site (such as video players, payment processors, or analytics tools) are developed by external providers and may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA standards.
We therefore declare partial compliance for these elements, as they are outside of our direct control.

Accessibility Arrangements in Our Organisation

ARC Academy currently operates online and does not have a public physical office.
However, we are committed to ensuring that all communication, resources, and mentoring materials are accessible to people with disabilities. Upon request, we can provide documents in alternative formats (such as large print or audio versions) and adapt online sessions to individual accessibility needs.

Requests, Issues, and Suggestions

We continuously strive to improve the accessibility of our website and services.
If you experience any difficulty using our site, or if you have feedback or suggestions to help us improve, please contact our accessibility coordinator:
